Play is learning

Babies, toddlers and young children learn through play. You are your child’s first and most important teacher and you help your child's brain grow through play and early learning.

Play is vital for children; it’s their work. It is how children learn, and how they work out who they are and where they fit in the world. Little wonder Albert Einstein said, “Play is the highest form of research.”

Playing with your young child is the best thing you can do to support their learning.
