Primary principals to attend paid union meetings

As you may have heard the NZEI Te Riu Roa union is holding a series of meetings around the country to discuss the Ministry’s collective agreement offer for primary principals.

These meetings start on Monday 12 August 2019.

Principals are entitled to attend two paid union meetings a year. During these meetings, School Boards must make arrangements to ensure that schools remains open.
