Keep It Real Online to help keep your children to be digitally safe

We’re supporting the Keep it Real Online campaign led by Internal Affairs, which supports parents and whānau to reduce the risks of online harm.

The internet helps children and young people to learn and connect but it also comes with a downside. Children and young people could be exposed to bullying, inappropriate content, pornography and grooming online.

Use your parenting skills to make sure your child is safe online. Having a conversation is a good start - talk to them about how to keep safe online.

The Keep It Real Online website has tips and advice to help parents and whānau on how to discuss this with your children.
