Have your say on the future of education in New Zealand
The Government has launched the Education Conversation | Kōrero Mātauranga and wants to hear the views of all New Zealanders who have an interest in education.
An online public survey has been launched and everyone is encouraged to have their say. The survey is available at conversation.education.govt.nz(external link).
You can also join the conversation on social media, using the hashtag #EdConvo18.
The conversation needs to hear voices from all parts of the community, including children, young people, adult learners and those with learning support needs, their parents, whānau, communities, Māori, Pasifika, teachers, researchers and education leaders at all levels, disability organisations, and employers and industry.
Hearing the voices of parents, and those who are at the centre of the system – students – is particularly important.
